The Good Doctor

The Good Doctor is a combination of Neil Simon and Chekhov, a comedy with music, and is, by turns, charming, hilarious, sad, and touching. It centers around a writer, who speaks to the audience and shares his writing with them, throughout one day. The audience meets a variety of characters, all of whom are immediately relatable and strikingly human.

Blithe Spirit

In Noël Coward’s classic comedy, Blithe Spirit, a fussy novelist invites the eccentric medium Madame Arcati to his home for a séance to gather material for a book. The plan goes hilariously wrong when the mystic accidentally summons the ghost of Charles’s deceased, mischievous first wife, Elvira.

Sylvia

Sylvia by A.R. Gurney is a smart, heartfelt comedy about a middle-aged empty-nester named Greg who adopts a stray lab-poodle mix named Sylvia from Central Park. I Am a Camera

I Am a Camera is a 1951 Broadway play (and 1955 film) that inspired the hit musical Cabaret. Set in 1930s Berlin, it follows Christopher Isherwood, a struggling English writer who shares a rooming house with Sally Bowles, a wild, carefree cabaret singer. As the Nazis gain power, they live a chaotic, bohemian life.

The Savannah Sipping Society

The Savannah Sipping Society is a Jones, Hope, Wooten comedy about four Southern women that bond after meeting at a chance happy hour. They decide to escape their dreary, boring daily lives, and over the next six months, they share personal experiences, laughs and drinks.
